This is super!!! I've always felt that we can teach like this and be effective versus segregating each topic by different periods of the day. This is just flat out more fun for student and teacher. I wonder if anyone can point to research that quantifies the retention level of material presneted with a real life, hands on approach versus routine, process like approaches. If that data were out there, maybe the emphasis to teach to the test would finally be put down.
