Continuing to Build My PLN

Even though the semester is over for me, I don't feel like I am done with EDM 310. I think this is the first class I have ever taken that I will continue to work on even though I am not formally required to. I wrote on my final exam that I felt more like a collaborator than a student in Dr. Strange's class. Does anyone else feel that way?

I am continuing to build my PLN in my "free time". I was looking for some new sites to add to my PLN and came across this site: 100 Best Blogs for Teachers of the Future. I wanted to share this with you because it seems like a great resource. There are a variety of blogs listed here on many topics from blogs by student teachers to blogs by special education teachers. I hope you find it helpful.

  1. Thanks Dina! I look forward to checking this out. I too feel more like a collaborator. I have learned so much from this class, and I will definitely continue to use the information I have learned. Dr. Strange changed me life!

  5. Great resource. I went to Miller's class and what an awesome English blog. Jackie asked me what I would like to get out of the Alumni blog and this is exactly the type of collaboration I was looking for-Thank you, Jen C.

  6. I love this website! I can't wait to go through it and see what I can find. There is so much here, and with each link, there is so much more. I think my PLN just tripled...

Has anyone used Symbaloo? I'm really interested in it, but I haven't actually had time to look too far into it. Does anyone else use it and think it's as wonderful as it sounds?

  8. Jessica,

Can you include the link to Symbaloo? I'm curious about it.

Isn't this the greatest! A work that we created during the semester that will REALLY come in handy for years to come. Imagine what it's going to look like over time as well all "grow up" as teachers!

Thanks for contributing and moving this thing forward!

    Jackie
